Beyond Watching the Show: Activities for Fans of Bindi the Jungle Girl

Welcome to this week’s edition of Beyond Watching the Show, where I give some ideas of activities for kids that enjoy a particular show that go beyond just watching the show. If you have more ideas of activities for this show please comment and share your ideas. This week’s show is Bindi The Jungle Girl.

Puzzles: The Discovery Kids site for Bindi the Jungle Girl has online jigsaw puzzles that can be put together on the site. There are four different designs and each starts by showing you what the finished puzzle looks like. It is not the best done online jigsaw puzzle game, but it still can be fun, although some young kids may find it too hard because for one it only lets the pieces connect when in the right spot of the puzzle and does not let you connect two pieces that go together outside of where they both belong in the puzzle.

Bindi’s Blog: This part of the Discovery Kids site is an interesting blog with Bindi answering questions. This includes some video blogs of her answering the questions as shown on her show. Your kids can even submit their own questions for Bindi on the site and perhaps she will answer their question as a future video blog.

Animal Coloring Pages: This site has several animal coloring pages that while are not specifically related to Bindi The Jungle Girl, however, it does include coloring pages of some of the animals on the episodes of Bindi the Jungle Girl.
