New Power Rangers Series: Power Rangers RPM Premieres Tomorrow

Tomorrow, March 7, 2009, the latest Power Rangers series is premiering on ABC as part of their Saturday morning kids shows line up. I remember the original Power Rangers and it is so hard to believe the series is still going. It certainly is not the same, although it kind of is in that the technology of the show has not seemed to get any better after all these years. It kind of seems like the series has gotten old, but at the same time it seems a new generation of kids are finding the joy of watching the show. I guess the constant changing of the characters and plot lines helps keep it a little fresher than most series and has to be one of the reasons why it has not become entirely stale after 16 seasons (RPM is the 17th season of Power Rangers).
I could not find much about the new series other than seeing some screenshots and stuff. It appears there will be seven rangers (red, blue, yellow, green, black, gold, and silver). It seems only the yellow ranger is a girl, but I could not find info on the silver or gold rangers other than the images of them in full Power Rangers outfits, although I think I read somewhere that they are twins and one is a girl. It sounds like each ranger has a different speed spirit that is an specific animal (kind of like what is in Jungle Fury???). It seems the big thing for this series is them driving different vehicles, which I think relates to the RPM name of the new series.
