Kids Incorporated

by Deanna

I was thinking today about one of my favorite shows when I was a kid, Kids Incorporated. I remember rushing home from school, flipping the TV on, and waiting (not so patiently) for it to start. I loved the stories, but more importantly, I loved the music. I suppose in the back of my mind I’ve always dreamed of being a rock star and I was fascinated by these kids who got to perform their favorite songs on stage. I spent some time today having 80’s flashbacks and watching some Kids Inc. clips on YouTube. Somehow it doesn’t have the same effect that it used to, but it was fun to reminisce a little. Just in case you might be missing the Kids Inc. gang (or if you just want to see a young Stacy Ferguson), I thought I would share a clip from one of my favorite episodes with you.

I loved this show! What I think is hilarious is how many people from this show later got famous: Sarah Ferguson, Mario Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewitt… funny huh? There’s probably more that I’m not aware of, too.

  3. Sammie Says:

This is just too great!!! I was trying to explain to my husband about Kids Inc. and how much our 4 year would love it!!! Thanks for bringing back the memories!!

  4. David Says:

How funny to see your post on Kids Inc! I was thinking about them just the other day when I was flipping channels and came across Sister act 2 - guess who I saw there? None other than Jennifer Love Hewitt - remember her from Kids Inc?
How many actors/singers got their start from shows like that? Of course, the Mickey Mouse club had a better following, so people like Christina, Brittany, and Justin get more publicty, but don’t forget those that started out on Kids Inc!
