Kids TV on DVD: Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies

Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies contains several episodes of Cartoon Network shows. The shows are mostly older Cartoon Network shows that do not play much if at all any more, but they are at least pretty much all very holiday themed.

“Son Nergal” episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is about Billy and Mandy meeting the son of Nergal. It might not seem holiday themed, but it does mostly take place in a winter/snowy setting.

“Fa La La La Ed” episode of Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy is about Ed thinking it is Christmas even when it is not and ending up convincing everyone else it is Christmas.

“The Nutcracker” episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog is about dancing rats and Courage challenging them to a dancing duel with a Nutcracker.

“Snowdown” episode of Dexter’s Laboratory is about Dexter’s dad encouraging Dexter to become a king of snow.

“Ice Sore” episode of The Powerpuff Girls is about Blossom getting the superpower Ice Breath.

“A Johnny Bravo Christmas” episode of Johnny Bravo is about Johnny Bravo taking a trip to the North Pole to personally deliver his letter to Santa.

“Me an’ My Dog” episode of Cow and Chicken is about Cow adopting an invisible dog.

“IR’s 1st Bike” episode of I AM Weasel is about IR getting a bike for Christmas.

“Dessert Island” episode of I AM Weasel is about Weasel and IR getting stuck on an island made of desserts.

Overall this is a pretty good collection of mostly holiday episodes. Most of the cartoons are the stupid idiot type Cartoon Network stuff, but I know there are a lot of people that think differently than me about the shows. Other main downside is that there are no special features.
