Kids TV on DVD Releases 1/20

Here is this week’s edition of new releases of DVDs that feature kids shows. Some are previously seen episodes from television while others are straight to DVD episodes or movies based on kids TV shows.

Back at the Barnyard: Cowman The Uddered Avenger - This release probably contains about 4 episodes of the Back at the Barnyard show. I highly doubt it actually has any special features or if it does they probably are not that great, as I am very rarely impressed by Nickelodeon’s DVD releases.

The Berenstain Bears: Kindness, Caring and Sharing - This release contains a few episodes from The Berenstain Bears show that is based on the book series featuring the bear family by Stan and Jan Berenstain.

The Girls of Little House on the Prairie: Country School - This release contains three episodes from related to the girls starting at a new school.

The Girls of Little House on the Prairie: Prairie Friends - This release contains the episodes: “Be My Friend,” “At the End of the Rainbow” and “Town Party, Country Party.”

The Powerpuff Girls The Complete Series 10th Anniversary Collection - This DVD release contains all Tge Powerpuff Girls episode, including the Twas the Night Before Christmas special. It also has the final episode, which was a musical and never aired in the United States. It is unclear, though, if it includes the new episode that aired yesterday on Cartoon Network to celerbrate the show’s 10th anniversary. This is a 6 double sided disc set and is said to have at least some good special features.
