Kids TV on DVD Releases 2/10
Here is this week’s edition of new releases of DVDs that feature kids shows. Some are previously seen episodes from television while others are straight to DVD episodes or movies based on kids TV shows.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Mystery of the Easter Chipmunk - Amazon lists this as releasing today, but I swear I almost bought this at Toys R Us this past Saturday, as I thought it looked like a fun Easter themed Chipmunks. Instead I used my gift card on a video game and I now found it is not available through Netflix and I kind of wish I bought it anyways. Perhaps Amazon is slow in getting it or Toys R Us released it early.
The Backyardigan: Robin Hood the Clean - This release contains a new episode of The Backyardigans that will probably premiere a little later on Nick Jr. I think it also has two or three other episodes of the show.
Dora the Explorer: The Egg Hunt - This DVD is a rerelease. The episodes on this Dora volume are “Egg Hunt,” “El Dia de la Madres,” “Dora, La Músico,” and “Pablo’s Flute.”
Phineas and Ferb, Vol. 2: The Daze of Summer - This release contains two never before seen episodes called “Unfair Science Fair” and “Return of the Science Fair.” It also contains “Greece Lightning” and “Leave the Busting to Us.”
The Wizards of Waverly, Vol. 2: Supernaturally Stylin’ - I am not sure what episodes are on this release, but I think it has four episodes on it.
