Kids TV on DVD Review: My Friends Tigger & Pooh Super Sleuth Christmas Movie

My Friends Tigger & Pooh - Super Sleuth Christmas Movie is a special holiday movie of the Playhouse Disney show My Friends Tigger & Pooh. This movie was first released on DVD last year and it premieres on Playhouse Disney tomorrow at 8:30am Eastern Time/7:30am Central Time.

The movie part is kind of an unique episode as it has several different mysteries instead of the normal one and even Tigger gets confused about the case being closed and reopening as they encounter new problems. The movie is basically about them helping a reindeer get back to Santa and then helping Santa deliver presents in order to prevent Christmas from being canceled. One of the things I really like about this movie is it has some good songs.

The DVD also has two bonus half episodes. The first one is “Symphony for Rabbit.” In this episode Rabbit’s music making machine breaks and the Super Sleuths help make instruments to make music. This is a fun episode because it can encourage kids to make their own band with things around the house. The other episode is actually winter themed and is called “Tigger Goes Snowflakey.” In this episode Tigger goes about trying to find two snowflakes that are exactly alike because he mishears Rabbit say he does not want to see him again until there are two snowflakes exactly the same.

Overall this is an enjoyable Christmas DVD release. The movie and episode are among the best for this show. Also, it has a bonus feature game in which you match up the presents with the recipients.
