The N Student Body and Queen Bees Premiere Tomorrow Night
Tomorrow, July 11, two new shows premiere on The N and Nickelodeon. The shows will normally only be on The N, but I guess as a way to get more people hooked into these reality shows they are doing the premiere also on the more watched Nickelodeon. The first one is called The N Student Body and is a reality show challenging the high school contestants to live healthier. The second is called Queen Bees and is a reality show about trying to transform mean girl diva types into sweet girls.
The N Student Body seems kind of like the teen version of The Biggest Loser. The show’s host is Laila Ali, who is the health and lifestyle correspondent for the CBS Early Show, the co-host of American Gladiators, and the 24 time undefeated Super Middleweight Boxing Champion. The show consists of two teams of high school students representing their own schools as a rivalry challenge. The two teams are MacArthur and Einsenhower. The winner of the show gets $25,000 and their school also gets $25,000 and hopefully all the participants gain a healthier lifestyle and self-confidence. It might even help some teens at home be inspired to live healthier lives.

Queen Bees sounds like an unique concept for a reality show, but kind of a cruddy one. Basically the show is going to try to turn high school mean girls (you might think something that starts with a b and that would be what they are supposedly) into sweet girls. Sure it is a good idea to make these girls act nicer, but giving them a television show because they are mean seems kind of wrong and not all that effective. I guess the idea that they are getting $25,000 if they make the biggest change towards the better is motive, but will it really be a permanent transformation, especially for the losers. Now looking into that could be a good second season or sequel called Did the Queen Bees really change?
Personally I am not big into reality television, but from past experience it does seem the The N does seem to do the some of the best shows that at least try to change people for the better and are rather tastefully done.

Brittany, you are SO FULL OF YOURSELF! Your comedy act was very weak and lame. What was so hilarious about your Barbie joke anyway? Your other jokes did not even make any sense either. All of the comedy acts were weak, except for Kiana’s, which I thought was really funny. I’m glad that Chevon got a star taken away from her. Michelle, that orange juice joke was not original. I’ve heard that one before. Yet, I applaud you for being nicer to everyone. Brittany, if you were an ugly duckling at one time, then you should have empathy for those who do not feel good about the way that they look. You are so conceited, shallow, and full of yourself, which makes you all the more unattractive. I cannot believe you earned two stars. Camille, you’re such a baby. Chill out!

o-kay? Camille, stop being such a sour puss. Buck up and chill out. You’re such a cry baby sometimes. Brittany, if you were once like an ugly duckling, then why don’t you have compassion for people who do not feel good about the way that they look? Do you get some sort of sick pleasure out of making fun of other people? Stop being so shallow, conceited, and full of yourself. It makes you all the more unattractive. No guy will take you seriously. They will just use you for their own selfish desires and then move on. I cannot believe that you are now in the lead. I think that Kiana has made the most progress thus far.
