Wiztober Sing Along Week Starts Tomorrow
Tomorrow, October 19, 2008, Wiztober Sing Along Week begins on the Disney Channel. Every night from October 19, 2008 until October 23, 2008, there will a sing along version of one of five Disney Channel Original Movies. They call it a week, but it is only five days and they are not even all weekdays, so it is a very odd week. I suppose that is how a week is in the month of mythical month of Wiztober. Personally I see it as a sad break from the normal awesomeness of 31 days of Halloween movies Disney shows during October, as these give movies are not at all Halloween themed. I am convinced this whole sing along week is unnecessary added promotion for the upcoming High School Musical 3 theatrical release. Anyways below is the line up for the Sing Along week that I am sure some kids will really enjoy, as it does seem the Sing Along versions are funner to watch than the regular versions.
Sunday, October 19, 2008 - The Cheetah Girls 2: This movie is the sequel to the first Cheetah Girls movie. In this movie the girls end up in Spain and again get broken up and then end up back together by the end.
Monday, October 20, 2008 - The Cheetah Girls One World: This is the third movie in The Cheetah Girls series. The Cheetah Girls are never entirely together in this one, as Raven is not really in the movie. This time they end up in India and face tension in their freindship when competing to be in a Bollywood movie.
Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - Camp Rock: This movie features the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. It is about a girl (played by Demi Lovato) trying to get noticed for her singing at a music camp and falling in love with one of the Jonas Brothers.
Wednesday, October 22, 2008 - High School Musical: Honestly, I am not sure what this movie is about and I think I have seen it before. Well, I do know it is a musical about high schoolers and something to do with basketball, too. Yeah, it really it is not memorable, but it somehow became famout.
Thursday, October 23, 2008 - High School Musical 2: This one I actually remember to some extent and thus it must be slightly better than the first. Basically it is another musical with most of the same characters, but this one takes place in the summer at a country club (or something along those lines). Yeah, again I really do not understand the appeal of these movies besides maybe they have replay value for being so unmemorable.
